Rhythm CSS is owned and operated by accomplished engineers with over 35 years combined experience in industrial automation and controls, product development and project management. Our company was founded by problem solvers who recognized an industry in need of more sustainable practices in order to maintain the highest level of quality, consistency, and yield with every harvest.
In 2014, Cory met a commercial grower in Denver, CO that introduced him to his operations. The grower explained the lack of tailored solutions available to Controlled Environment Agriculture at the time. Cory's brother, Cale, and his co-worker Raul were Application Engineers who then decided to bring their software talents to the agriculture world, working directly with indoor cultivators inside their facilities to test and create RHYTHM.
Raul has fifteen years of experience as an automation and controls specialist and heads-up Rhythm’s engineering and research & development teams. After graduating with a BSE in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso, he began his career with General Motors providing production support, maintenance of automated equipment, and new systems installations. From there, Raul went on to become one of the leading automation engineers and product managers in the country, for some of the world leaders in control and automation, including ABB, Eaton, and Schneider.
Cory received a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering from Texas Tech University and spent over twelve years in the commercial and industrial space managing multiple ground-up projects in excess of $100 million dollars as a Senior PM for some of America’s largest builders. With over thirty completed commercial projects, exceeding $530 million in total value, Cory knows exactly what it takes to bring your vision to life. He oversee’s all Rhythm projects, ensuring a smooth and well coordinated delivery and installation of Rhythm products and solutions across the country.
Candice was a farmer for 10 years in Los Angeles when her team purchased the very first Rhythm system. Her team beta tested the software and she used the system for 1 year before she became a part of the Rhythm team, managing accounting and marketing remotely from San Diego, CA. Candice brings her specialty farming experience to the company, helping develop user experience for the grower that she identified with for many years.
Andrew comes from Houston, Texas with prior work experience at a civil engineering firm where he designed water and sewer line networks for the city of Houston and surrounding areas. He oversees the production of every Rhythm system, from electrical panels to plumbing components, to ensure every single customer's system meets the highest quality production standards.
Raymond comes from Klein, Texas with prior work experience at a commercial mechanical company (13 years) where he was project manager. He assists Cory with project development and you may meet him during the project coordination process or during on-site installations.

Selwyn is an experienced Controls Design Engineer, with an HVAC Electrical Controls installation and Electrical Control Panel build background. He takes pride in providing the best controls design possible. With over 15 years of panel build experience, and 10 years of Electrical Controls field installation, and 10 years of designing control panels, Selwyn thrives in the Controls Design field. Selwyn currently lives in Texas with his 3 kids and 1 Grand-daughter.

Cale spent over ten years working in engineering, sales, and marketing roles for some of the world’s largest industrial automation manufacturers after receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas Tech University. Cale held multiple senior level positions in sales and engineering for Eaton, honing both technical and leadership skills, and co-founded Rhythm in 2014. Today, Cale serves as President – focused on bringing innovative automation solutions, process management and analytics tools, and exceptional service to the indoor cultivation industry.
